Hulk opening title

The opening title to this movie is on the theme of the Hulk itself as it uses bold, large and green text. As you can see from the second picture at the top the text almost feels the whole screen which emphasises the fact that the hulk in intimidating and large.

Because the Hulk originated from a marvel magazine there is a lot of cartoons at the beginning of the film and is yet again coloured green. This provides the audience with some background information about where the film was generated from. Therefore, because of this the text of the majority of the titles look as if they are hand written as if they would be in a comic.

The music used is non-diegetic and it is light and upbeat, however it does increase in tension until the 'HULK' is shown on the screen. This draws the audience attention to the name even more and makes the curious what the Hulk is.

There is also a lot of scientific things such as DNA and cells, which gives the audience an indication that the Hulk is a living thing and maybe is a disease or is something in the genes.
